Workouts For Women | Turbulence Training Workouts For Women

Women basically commit two types of mistakes when they set out to lose some weight. They do not have enough variety in their training, and they train with low intensity workouts. Humans have the tendency to carry out something if it works for them, without worrying about the long-term efficacy of the method. It may work for 2 weeks or at most a month but for a long term it will fail. So Craig Ballantyne, who creater of the world famous Turbulence Training program, does not suggest training with the same workout for more than 4 weeks.

The major attraction of the work outs designed by Craig Ballantyne is the sheer amount of variety. It is designed in such a way that you do new things and shock the body into results. So when more intense work outs are done the body works harder to rebuild the muscle mass and recover. This in turn increases the metabolic rate many fold. On the flip side, if you stick to one routine the body slowly and steadily adjusts to the routine and your results begin to stagnate.

When the body adjusts to surprise workouts and other such “turbulent” stuff, it will be easier to lift weights and perform repetitions of sets and exercises again and again. This is the reason Craig comes out with new plans each month. Craig Ballantyne includes an intense cardio exercise which helps increase the metabolism, as shown in various studies. This cardio portion normally consists of interval or circuit workouts.

According to Craig Ballantyne, increasing the metabolic rate is the key to weight loss. The higher the metabolic rate the more the calories are burnt. And the more the calories are burnt the more fat is lost. So performing exercise that can increase your metabolic rate is extremely helpful in losing those extra pounds.

Here is a sample workout you can use to get started with Turbulence Training today:

Sample Workout (For Beginners)

Do 2 rounds of

Bodyweight Squats, eight reps
Push ups, eight reps
Bodyweight Row, eight reps.
Perform the above exercises without rest in between reps and exercises. After one round is done take a minutes rest and do all again. Perform three such supersets. Do the same with both the super sets.

Superset #1:

DB Squat, eight reps
DB Press, eight reps
Rest one minute
Perform three rounds

Superset #2:

Split Squat, 8 reps
DB Row, 8 reps
Rest 1 minute
Perform 3 rounds

Then perform intense cardio exercises for at least 120 seconds nonstop. This will help increase your metabolic rate.

If workout 1 was easy grab Ballantyne’s course and refer to more workouts that are available to satisfy your range of workouts. He has so many workouts, that you’ll never get bored and you’ll never hit a plateau with your training.

If you’re really serious about getting into shape with Dumbbell training, then you need the right program. The best one out there is Turbulence Training, developed by Craig Ballantyne.
